How to unpack the .cpk files to edit the game

    What you need:
    CriPakTools-master

    1. Drag n Drop your data.cpk file in the CriPakTools-master folder

    2. Double click on 1-EXTRACT_ALL(no_decompression).bat

    3. You get a folder named Data. (Rename it to DataBackup and save it on a place you remember. This folder contains the files we want to edit later)

    4. Delete the data.cpk in the CriPakTools-master folder

    5. Drag n Drop you data2.cpk in the CriPakTools-master folder

    6. Double click on 1-EXTRACT_ALL(no_decompression).bat

    7. You get 2 folders Data and Data2

    8. Create a folder named Data2root on your root folder of DB XV and put the data2 and data folder into it

How do you repack part of the data folder (the part you added a mod too) instead of the whole thing?

you need to repack the whole data2 (datap1, datap2 or datap3) cpk file where you have your mod

My name is Majin Petrosk, after a life in hellish future, I was summoned by Shenlong with only one goal - to save the Time.
With Trunks and Supreme Kai of Time helping in my crusade I defeat Demigra. But somehow I become a god.
Now I'm someone else. I am something else.

you can paste into data2.cpk all mods (or one of DLC data cpk)

the last time I repacked my cpk file I got a data 2 that was like 3.2 gigs. This caused a infinite load screen on the game. Not sure what I did wrong.

So if I want to replace the textures of the generic controler inputs, which is located in DataBackup/ui/sprites/Command_en.emb, I would unpack the emb, replace them with files that I made, repack the emb, then place my new Command_en.emb in a folder called sprites, which goes in a foler called ui, which goes in my Data folder? Which I then repack with the Data2 folder in the Data2root folder entirely as a Data2.cpk, which replaces the Data2.cpk in my Xenoverse folder?

And it should just run when I turn the game on, no problem?

Because I did exactly that and got jack squat.
