Nothing much, just something I thought the game was lacking.

 

What this mod does:

1. This mod replaces that TIME PATROL recruitment ad with the XV1 intro (the cha-la-head-cha-la one).

2. It also replaces the end-game Conton City music (Conton City BGM 6) to that of Toki-Toki City from XV1. (The music that was replaced from the BGM 6 slot is moved to BGM 7 slot)

3. Replaces the CAC create/select screen music with that of XV1

 

Bonus:

X. Optionally replace the CAC create/select screen with that of XV1

X. A new main menu theme. Dragon Soul song by the entire Funimation DBZ dub team (English ver).

X. A better Time Vault theme that suits the "beaten the game and re-visiting the main story" feel.

 

 

Notes:

 

1. The original XV2 intro is longer than XV1 intro, so after the intro finishes, you may have a black/white screen with music playing for about 30 seconds. Nothing we can do about it. You can skip this normally by pressing Enter, or just enjoy the music for 30 seconds.

2. Intro Trunks Voice only supports English and Japanese language.

3. Conton City music supports the tone-up-down effect (when you fly too high or too far in Conton City and the music tones down, and returns to normal when you fly back).

4. It does not loop with the Time Nest theme (nothing we can do about it, that's just how the game is coded).

Tools Required:

1. UNLEASHED's CPK BROWSER

2. Eternity's Audio Tools v1.0 beta 1 (only if you have music mods installed)

Note: MUST download v1.0 beta 1 else all the tracks will be out of order

 

 

 

Installation:

 

(Download main mod first)

 

0. CPK EDIT

• Load up CPK browser.
• Go to "Settings --> {CPK Directory} Change"   and set path to your CPK folder (located in main XV2 directory).
• Now click on "File --> Install M2C" and navigate to the "Intro.M2C" file provided in the "CPK EDIT" folder of this mod.

(or simply set CPK BROWSER as default program for .M2C files and install like a regular .X2M)

 

 

1. Copy and paste the contents of "FILES TO COPY" folder into your XV2 directory.

 

 

(Download either version)

 

2. (a) If you don't have any music mod installed, simply copy the contents of "2.(a)" folder into your XV2 directory.

2. (b) If you have any music mod installed, open your "data --> sound --> BGM --> CAR_BGM.acb" file with Eternity's Audio Tool, and start replacing tracks with the ones provided in the "2.(b)" folder. (TRACKS description provided in instructions file). Save when done.

 

X. (OPTIONAL) If you want the XV1 CAC create/select screen, copy the contents of "X." folder into your XV2 directory.
